B2BWALA Platform Fee – Complete Explanation
This document provides a complete, transparent, and detailed explanation of the B2BWALA Platform Fee. It is written to ensure that every Buyer, Seller, Reseller, Group Participant, and Partner clearly understands how the platform fee works, why it exists, when it is charged, and what it covers. Please read this document carefully before participating in any transaction on the B2BWALA platform.
B2BWALA is a B2B group-buying facilitation platform. We do not manufacture goods, stock inventory, hold warehouses, or directly sell products. Instead, we enable buyers to come together as groups and purchase products directly from verified sellers at wholesale prices. The platform fee supports this entire ecosystem.
1. What Is the B2BWALA Platform Fee?
The B2BWALA Platform Fee is 10% of the Buyer’s purchase value. This fee is collected only from Buyers and never from Sellers. Sellers list their products at their agreed wholesale price and receive the full product value.
The platform fee is a service charge that enables B2BWALA to operate, maintain, and improve the group-buying system while providing structured coordination, transparency, and support to both Buyers and Sellers.
2. Why Does B2BWALA Charge a Platform Fee?
Unlike traditional marketplaces, B2BWALA focuses on group coordination and wholesale access. The platform fee exists to cover the operational and service costs involved in enabling small buyers to access wholesale pricing that would otherwise require large capital and MOQ commitments.
- Group creation and buyer coordination
- Deal structuring and transparent pricing
- Seller onboarding and basic verification
- Order consolidation and confirmation support
- Buyer assistance before and after order confirmation
- Resale lane access for unsold stock
3. Who Pays the Platform Fee?
The platform fee is paid only by the Buyer. Sellers do not pay any platform fee, commission, or deduction on the product value. This ensures that sellers can offer competitive wholesale pricing without hidden costs.
Each Buyer pays the platform fee based solely on their individual purchase value, even when participating in a group order.
4. When Is the Platform Fee Charged?
The platform fee is charged only when a group order is successfully confirmed and placed with the Seller.
- If an order is cancelled before Seller confirmation, no platform fee is charged
- If the Seller confirms the order, the platform fee becomes applicable
- Each Buyer’s fee is calculated independently
5. What Does the Platform Fee Include?
- Creation and management of buyer groups
- Access to verified wholesale deals
- Transparent pricing and MOQ breakdown
- Seller communication and coordination support
- Order confirmation and consolidation assistance
- WhatsApp, call, and chat support
- Access to resale options for unsold inventory
6. What Is Not Included in the Platform Fee?
- Transportation or courier charges
- Packaging, loading, unloading, or labour costs
- Payment gateway or banking charges
- Taxes or government levies
- Refunds of product value
7. Platform Fee Calculation Examples
Understanding the calculation helps Buyers plan their investment clearly. Below are realistic examples.
Example 1: Single Buyer Purchase
A Buyer purchases goods worth ₹5,000.
- Product value: ₹5,000
- Platform fee (10%): ₹500
- Transport charges: As agreed with Seller
- Total Buyer outflow: ₹5,000 + ₹500 + transport
Example 2: Group Buying Scenario
A group places a combined order of ₹40,000. One Buyer’s share is ₹10,000.
- Buyer’s purchase value: ₹10,000
- Platform fee (10%): ₹1,000
- Transport charges: Shared or individual as agreed
8. Platform Fee and Refund Policy
B2BWALA does not provide refunds. The platform fee is non-refundable once an order is confirmed by the Seller.
This policy exists because Sellers allocate inventory and logistics resources based on confirmed orders and group commitments.
9. Transport Damage and Replacement
If goods are damaged during transportation, the responsibility lies with the Seller or logistics provider. In such cases:
- No refund is provided
- Replacement may be offered by the Seller
- Proof such as photos, videos, and POD notes are mandatory
10. Unsold Stock and Resale Lane
Unsold stock is not eligible for refunds. However, B2BWALA provides a resale lane where Buyers can list unsold inventory and sell it to other Buyers within the platform.
This feature helps Buyers recover capital and reduce business risk.
11. Platform Fee in Case of Deal Failure
If a deal fails before Seller confirmation, no platform fee is charged. If a deal fails after confirmation due to Buyer-side issues, the platform fee remains applicable.
12. Transparency and Fair Usage
B2BWALA is committed to transparency. The platform fee is always communicated upfront before order confirmation. There are no hidden deductions or surprise charges.
13. Limitation of Liability
The platform fee does not guarantee profits, sales, or resale success. B2BWALA is not liable for business losses, unsold inventory, delayed deliveries, or market fluctuations.
14. Policy Updates
B2BWALA reserves the right to revise the platform fee structure or this policy at any time. Updated policies will apply to future transactions only.
